Introduction and Overview
Middle East University (MEU) is committed to achieving integrated and sustainable water management in alignment with Sustainable Development Goal 6, which focuses on ensuring clean water access and effective, sustainable water resources management. MEU prioritizes best practices in water consumption across its facilities, incorporating advanced technologies to minimize waste and increase the use of recycled water.
SDG 6 aims to ensure the availability and sustainable management of clean water and sanitation for all, alongside the protection of water resources from pollution. At MEU, a range of policies and programs are implemented to enhance water use efficiency, including recycling water for irrigation, upgrading water treatment systems, and using rainwater harvesting techniques.
